Few months ago, one evening, I was sitting in TV lounge of our home and watching some TV program. My niece came to me and asked in her soft voice "How to know what color is made by mixing any two colors?". I said "mix any two colors and you will know". She said "No! Without mixing any colors". I tried to find and give some answer to my niece but had no idea.
.
Therefore instead of answering, somehow, I went into thoughts and started thinking how to give a useful answer to my niece. During same thinking session I wondered why not I make an application for my niece for solving this problem. An application in which my niece can mix any two colors to get the resulting color.
.
After getting this idea I started making the above mentioned application in c#. I made more than one version of the application to test the look and feel of different type of user-interface and code-logic. The version of the above mentioned application I am sharing/discussing here is n-layer based.
.
Following are some screen-shots of the above mentioned application I made in c# for my niece.

[Application How to Use]
For selecting new color click "Choose color A" and/or "Choose color B" in menu "Action/Select colors/[Choose color A | Choose color B] or in toolbar "Choose color A | Choose color B" or in form right of "Select color" and under "Color A" and/or "Color B" boxes.
For randomly select new "Color A" and/or "Color B" click in menu "Action/Random colors/[Method 1 | Method 2]" or in toolbar's "Random color" part "Method 1" and/or "Method 2".
"Method 1" generates randomly new values for "Color A" and "Color B" and constant value "50%" for 'Color blend %" for "Color A" and "Color B". "Method 2" generates randomly new values for "Color A", "Color B" and "Color blen %" values for "Color A" and "Color B".

Doll-Shelf by me and my niece - 210129Fri

Doll-Shelf by me and my niece.
.
Version: 210129Fr
(Photos by me on 2021 Jan 30, 31 and Feb 17, 19.)
.
One day in morning I noticed a refrigerator cover card-box and some packing things of our newly bought refrigerator still lying in front of our TV-lounge. That view sent me in back by some years in time when I used internal plastic cover of another refrigerator as a cover in rains. I and my niece enjoyed walking in rains under cover of that plastic bag cover very much. Before doing so I made enough holes in that plastic bag for passage of air.
.
This time I said to my niece why not we make something useful of the leftover materials from new refrigerator packings. So we together started making plans and ended up at the idea of making a doll-house or doll-shelf.
.
Therefore after making plans one evening I collected tools required for making doll-shelf. Tools were one old iron cutting saw blade for cutting cardboard-box etc, one measuring tape, one pencil for making markings, one very large sized needle and some old threads of different colors for stitching different parts of doll-shelf together. Work started at around 4pm.
.
My niece kept helping me in the work especially in measuring and making markings for different parts of Doll-Shelf. Plus she during work also kept doing different thing to simulate my work.
.
By 9pm around half of the work was done. Almost at the same time my niece asked me to stop working today and do remaining work tomorrow as temperature was falling outside where I was working. I stopped and felt that I was starting to feel tired also. During my work my niece kept supplying food and water for me.
.
Next day by 11am I again started working and finished making Doll-shelf by 4pm. First I made different parts of the Doll-Shelf and then I stitched them together. I used thermocol we got from refrigerator packing for making Doll-Shelf structure harder.
.
After that I and my niece together carried that Doll-Shelf into the room of her grandparents because here she often plays with her toys and placed it where we had planned.
.
Next she started placing her new and old toys on her new and self made Doll-Shelf. How happy she was feeling was visible on all of her face and this is the reward of doing something good for young children around oneself.
.
.
Following are the photos I took of above mentioned Doll-Shelf using my mobile nokia c1-01.

I started taking these photos one day after making Doll-Shelf. I do not know why but it never came to my mind to keep taking photos during the process of planning and making Doll-Shelf.
.

.
[2020 Feb 19 Fri] Today morning I took a few photos of Doll-Shelf and current set of toys arranged over it by my niece. Now a days my niece is often found sitting in front of her this Doll-Shelf and playing joyfully with toys arranged over it

Turtle made by Me and my Niece - 201201Tu

Turtle made by Me & my Niece
.
Version: 201201Tu
.
Until a few years ago we had a RES "Red-eared slider" turtle. When we received that RES turtle it's shell was about 4 inches in length and when we lost that RES turtle it's shell was about 10 inches in length. We used to search online to learn how to keep fresh water turtle as a pet and were doing as directed. All our family was enjoying it's company/presence in our home. It was a great attraction for children specially our niece who was then about 3 years old.
.
But, during that time, when I got ill I gave our RES turtle to someone for keeping it during my illness. That someone happily took our RES turtle from me but never returned it back to me. This made my niece very ANGRY and SAD.
.
Since that lose of our RES turtle my niece often remember and talk about that RES turtle and wonders how big that turtle would have become. A few days ago during one such session my niece came to me with her colorful playdoughs and asked me to make a turtle from her playdoughs. She also asked me a little sadly that why I gave away our turtle. I had no answer to her question but I with the help of my niece did made a colorful, little turtle.
.
This DIY was interesting and we both enjoyed doing it. This also made a past event memory fresh in my mind in which I did made something same with a cousin of my niece a few decades ago. I and my niece were making turtle together and I was telling story to her of how did we made a turtle a few years ago with her eldest cousin from her father's side.
.
Following are photos I took using my mobile, nokia c1-01, of that cute little turtle which I and my niece made together from playdoughs, in memory of our RES turtle, as I discussed above.
