On evening of PkT 2022 Oct 14 Wed my niece asked for my help while playing sliding “puzzle 15” game. I found that she had solved top 3 rows out of total 4 rows. I felt happy on watching that and at the same time felt sorry because I had no idea how to solve that puzzle game.

Therefore for helping my niece in solving that puzzle game I started learning online that game myself. After reading some articles about that game on couple of sites/pages I found the strategy/method required for solving “puzzle 15” game.

Till late that night I kept learning and practicing solving “puzzle 15” game so that I could teach my niece next time how to play and solve puzzle games like “puzzle 15”.

During that session of learning and playing sliding Puzzle-15 game online I solved the game for the first time. Even after solving the game I kept learnig the game on different sites to get as much information about solving it as possible. That night I played this sliding puzzle-15 game online over and over because I wanted to practice enough to teach this game to my niece in better way.

I, during that same session, also played and solved sliding Puzzle-15 game available on my smart phone. That was an exciting moment for me because before that day I had no idea about solving the puzzle. [ Solving droughts problem ]

Around a few decades ago through a cable TV program/talk-show I came to know that Balochistan was then continuously going through bad spells of droughts since few years. That news made me very upset and I started thinking what could be done and how Balochistan can be helped.

.

That drought situation of Balochistan continued after that year also and all that made me think on the matter more and more. I kept worrying and thinking and worrying and thinking about that matter and reached at a solution which looked reasonable and workable to me. Even after creating solution I kept working/thinking on the solution to make it simpler and generalized so that it could be implemented anywhere in the world. In fact I wanted to extend my solution to entire Pakistan. Here I am going to discuss my solution for the drought problem which is although neither easy nor cheap but still is a very necessary solution indeed.

My above mentioned idea/solution was based on the following generalized steps:

Dig a lot of different sized lakes and wells all across the concerned area. Make system for pulling water from the sea. Pull required amount of water from the sea. Clean collected sea water completely to up to water’s molecule “H2O”. Fill lakes and wells with water collected from sea and completely cleaned. Create networks of canals and pipes for taking water from lakes and wells to its human and non-human consumers/users. Connect lakes and wells with each other with a network of canals and pipes. Release water in those canals and pipes. Provide water 24/7 throughout the year. Create similar system for filling rivers and streams during droughts.

To me the above described solution is right according to the requirement and is highly workable. According to me this solution can easily be adapted and implemented anywhere in the world without much change and difficulty.

[ Solving floods problem ]

.

From time to time, in rainy seasons, we get floods of different intensity in different areas of our country Pakistan. These floods cause losses of life and property of different intensity in different parts of the country. All this makes me very upset and sad and makes me to think what could be done to avoid and prevent losses of floods.

.

For solving above mentioned problem of losses due to floods I reached at a solution which looked workable to me. Here I am going to discuss that not easy but workable solution.

.

My above mentioned idea/solution for preventing losses due to floods is based on the solution I made for preventing loses due of droughts. Its steps are as follows:

Create lakes and wells of different size all across the concerned area and keep them empty. Connect all these lakes and wells together with canals and pipes. Create canals and pipes for draining these lakes and wells into the sea. During rainy season fill lakes and wells, created for flood management, with flood water. During rainy seasons anticipating floods start empting lakes and wells, created for drought management, in the sea and start filling those lakes and wells with flood water from rivers, streams etc.

To me the above described solution is right according to the requirement and is highly workable. According to me this solution can also be adapted and implemented anywhere in the world without much change and difficulty.

Few days ago I specially searched on hard-drive of computer for an application I had made some years ago in c# (c sharp) for demonstrating a progressbar (user control). I had made that demonstration applicaton for testing progressbar usercontrol I had made in c# (c sharp). After finding that application I ran it for some time and after testing/revising it's different options I took and saved some screen-shots at different levels/states of application. I did that for sharing online. I had named that progressbar "FancyProgressbar - 3".

In this blog entry I am going to discus that progressbar in some detail.

First the purpose of making this progressbar was to have a progressbar which can display progress status of the process over it. This progressbar can display, user chose-able, following type of information over it:

Few years ago while going through different websites for getting some information about RGB color generation on computer I somehow stumbled upon a page of Wikipedia. Now today in 2022, I feel happy that I stayed at that Wikipedia page for enough time and did not move to some other page in any hurry. Information on that page was very interesting. Actually someone had made and shared an image containing all colors as individual pixels available in color-space RGB 24 bits.

Since then I started wondering how I can make such a interesting image myself. I was already playing with digital colors for decades and had already made different applications in different software for displaying all available colors in different color spaces. But this idea of having all available colors in one image looked worth a try to me. So I decided to give it a try. .

.

On PkT 2020 Oct 20 Tue, AM 02:01, UTC+05:00 I practically started making an application for generating images having all color-space RGB 24 bit colors available in them. After achieving required result I kept on experimenting with the code and made different algorithms for generating the required image. In one category of code I took colors in RGB color-space 24 bit as a 3D grid with size of each dimension 256 pixels. On each axis I named each position on any particular axis as a slice ranging from 0 to 255. Then I created code for plotting each slice for any axis from that grid as a 64 by 64 grid tiles on the target image.

Although I never had any interest in having any kind of mobile, but still I have had interest in acquiring information about different kind of mobiles. Mobile’s size, color, abilities and price used to be my main interest. With passage of time information I was gathering about mobiles slowly, slowly started to create an idea in my mind about my concept mobile.

Following is the summery outline of the basic features of my concept mobile.

Basic features so far of my concept mobile are • It’s price and maintenance will be affordable. • It’s processor will be fast, accurate and durable. • It’s display screen will have a good size with ratio of 1.77. • It’s resources e.g. memory, battery charge etc will not end/get-consumed easily/quickly. • It’s design and color will be attractive. • It’s abilities of networking and contacting with other devices will be of high quality. • It’will be made of many panels giving it look of a book/copy/etc. Each panel will be for a particular purpose e.g. display, memory, batteries etc. • Plus It will have features I am not discussing in this post/article. May be I will discus them in next blog posts/articles here.

In this background a few days ago on one cold night of January 2022 my eyes fell upon an out of use cardboard box in the dining room of our home. I quickly made an idea of making a prototype of my above discussed concept mobile from it. For this purpose I took a small sized kitchen knife and cut that cardboard box according to the required measurements. I actually made four rectangular pieces having size nearly like smart mobile phones. Then I fixed those four rectangular pieces together using masking tape in such a way that those pieces took the shape of a copy/book/etc.

[ Mobile's different panels explained ]

First think of my concept mobile as a book/copy. Just like a book/copy have front and back covers and pages in between it's covers my mobile will have front panel, rear panel and a few more panels in between it's front and rear panels. Mobile’s each panel will be for one or more specific purpose as explained below.

[ (a) - Front panel ]

This panel will contain display screen, front/selfie camera, many slots for SIM's and mobile's mother-board, processor etc.

[ (b) - Rear panel ]

This panel will contain rear cameras and many batteries. Idea is to make mobile continuesly work at full capacity for a full month after a full charge.

[ (c) - In between panels ]

They will be set of a few panels as explained in the following.

[ (c-1) - Memory panel ]

This panel will have a lot of slots for installing Ram, Internal and External storage media. This mobile will have single memory-set working as RAM and Internal memory with capacity of multiple of Terabytes.

[ (c-2) - SIM panel ]

This panel will have a lot of slots for installing a lot of SIM's in it. (Update: Mobile will not have this panel.Slots for sim will be available in front panel)

[ (c-3) - Expansion panel ]

This panel will have a lot of slots for installing expansion cards for increasing features of mobile and/or adding feature to mobile.

[ (c-4) - Battery panel ]

This panel will have a lot of slots for installing batteries. Idea is to make mobile continuesly work at full capacity for a full month after a full charge.

In this step I got two rectangular cardboard pieces of same size by cutting a out of use cardboard box using a small kitchen knife. Knife can be seen in the photo for "Step # 2".
